Emerald green is the deepest colour Smeg puts on a small appliance – closer to a bottle green than the pastel sage that runs through the 50s Style range, and the one that reads as expensive rather than retro.
Mechanically this is Smeg’s full-size jug blender: a 1.5 litre jug, six cups, an 800 W motor and a speed dial running from 9,000 to 18,000 rpm with a Smooth Start that ramps the motor instead of snapping it to full. Stainless steel blade group fixed into the base, measuring cup set into the lid, anti-slip feet.
One thing worth saying plainly: emerald green is not one of the standard South African colourways for this blender, so it is a limited or imported finish rather than core stock. Ask on 063 944 0330 on WhatsApp before you count on a replacement or a matching second unit.
