Fieldbar 4L vs 10L vs 24L: sizes, prices and ice retention compared
Fieldbar makes three cooler box sizes. The 4L Mini Bar holds six 330ml cans and keeps ice for up to 24 hours. The 10L Drinks Box holds ten 330ml cans or three wine bottles and keeps ice for up to 50 hours. The 24L Gin Trunk holds 32 standing 440ml cans or ten 750ml wine bottles, stands bottles upright, and also keeps ice for up to 50 hours. All three are handmade in Cape Town, carry an individually numbered brass plaque and a five-year warranty, and are priced below Fieldbar’s own recommended retail here, with free delivery anywhere in South Africa.

What fits in a 4L Mini Bar?
Six 330ml cans with ice around them - Fieldbar’s own specification for the 4L Mini Bar. It is 1kg empty and measures 190mm high by 250mm long by 160mm deep, which is the boot, back-seat and picnic-blanket size rather than the braai size. For a full day out for two, step up to the 10L Drinks Box.
How long does the Mini Bar keep ice?
Up to 24 hours packed with ice and kept out of direct sun. If you need longer, the 10L Drinks Box and 24L Gin Trunk both hold cold for up to 50 hours.
Which Mini Bar colourways are in stock?
