Pink is the colour people come to Smeg for and then hesitate over. It is a soft powder rather than a bright one, and it sits far better against pale wood and white tile than the photographs suggest.
Under the die-cast body this is the same machine across every colour in the 50s Style blender range: a 1.5 litre jug, 800 W, and a speed range from 9,000 to 18,000 rpm on a dial rather than preset buttons. Smeg puts the weight low and gives it an anti-slip base, so it stays put on a worktop instead of walking when it hits ice.
