The Blu Mediterraneo toaster is the Smeg and Dolce & Gabbana collaboration, and it is the only one in the range that is decorated rather than simply coloured. The pattern is drawn from Sicilian majolica tiles – lemons, prickly pear and the blue and yellow of the Mediterranean – printed over the same die-cast aluminium body as the plain 50’s Style toaster.
Mechanically it is the standard TSF01: two extra-wide slots, self-centring racks, six browning levels, and defrost and reheat settings. It is bought for the decoration, but it toasts exactly like the R2,561 version.
- Model TSF01DGBEU
- 950 W, 2 slices in two extra-wide slots
- Six browning levels, defrost and reheat
- Removable crumb tray, cord storage under the base
- Sicilian majolica decoration, Dolce & Gabbana edition
