Victoria is Smeg’s traditional range – the one with the raised splashback, the row of round knobs and the SMEG lettering across the top. The TR90GMP is the cream 900mm version, and it is the cooker people put in a farmhouse or a Cape Dutch kitchen and then build the room around.
It is not styling for its own sake. Six gas burners sit on cast-iron supports over a thermo-ventilated electric oven, with a warming compartment beneath. Smeg supplies this finish to order in South Africa, so allow lead time.
