Black is the finish that disappears into a dark counter and lets the chrome and the stainless do the talking.
Espresso Coffee Machine ECF02BLEU
Smeg’s 50s Style ECF02 is the entry point into the range and the machine most people picture when they picture a Smeg coffee machine. It is a manual espresso machine: you grind and tamp your own coffee, lock in the 51mm stainless filter holder and pull the shot yourself, which is why it costs a third of what the bean-to-cup models do. A thermoblock brings it up to temperature in about a minute, the 15 bar pump handles ground coffee and paper pods, and the steam wand froths milk for cappuccinos. The top plate doubles as a passive cup warmer. At 149mm wide it takes up less counter space than a kettle.
