Espresso Coffee Machine ECF03BLEU
The ECF03 is the one worth knowing about. Smeg lists it at the same R8,499 as the older ECF02, but it is a materially better machine: a 58mm professional portafilter instead of the 51mm, an integrated pressure gauge on the front so you can actually see whether your grind is right, a bigger 1.4 litre tank, 1480 W instead of 1350 W, and a cold brew function that pulls a single or double dose in under five minutes. If you are choosing between the two 50s Style espresso machines at the same price, this is the one to take. It is still a manual machine, so you grind and tamp yourself.
